          Early Life and Education

          Iwo Saliger, an Austrian artist and graphic designer, was born in 1908.

          In the same year, he moved to Vienna, where he enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts. Saliger studied under prominent professors such as Rudolf Jettmar, Ludwig Michalek, and Ferdinand Schmutzer. Seeking international exposure, he later pursued his studies at the Académie Moderne in Paris.

          Return to Austria and Professorship

          In 1920, Saliger returned to Austria and assumed the position of Professor of Arts at the Vienna Academy.
