Born in Amritsar, India in 1988, Bhullar was a talented amateur golfer, who was the number one amateur in his home country, in both 2004 and 2006.

He also helped the Indian team to win the silver medal at the Asian Games, in 2006. Bullar turned professional that same year.

After turning professional, Bhullar played on the Professional Golf Tour of India. During his time playing on this tour, Bhullar has been reasonably successful.

He is an angel investor in several startups and invests in markets and financial instruments.

He played in seven events, in his first season on the tour, and finished in the top 10 on three of occasions; two of these finishes were as runner-up. Bhullar’s successes that season led to him finishing in fifth place on the Order of Merit.

He repeated this placing the following season.
